With active cooperation from Barazara-ChandkuchiBasanti Puja Committee and BarazaraAgragatiSangha, the Cultural Complex came in to being to cater to the needs of the culturally rich area of Nalbari district. The project has been constructed with financial support from the government as well as donations from the benevolent people. The cultural complex was formally inaugurated by Dr. HimantaBiswaSarma, Chief Minister of Assam on 7th April, 2022 and in his inaugural speech the Chief Minister mentioned that the cultural complex, civil works of which were completed, would be center of excellence in course of time and the projects envisaged therein would go a long way in fulfilling the wish and aspirations of the people of the area for which he sought active participation from the beneficiary concerned.
In order to take care of the entire complex, a strong committee has been formed with Dr. Bhupendra Prasad Sarma as President, veteran social worker PhanindraNathSarma as General Secretary, BanjitDeka, Chairman of Nalbari Development Authority as Treasurer and Executive Members comprising of Sarvashree Dr. MrigankaTalukdar, President of Nalbari District BJP, Er. PratulSarma, Er. Lakhi Kanata Deka, Ramesh Chandra Talukdar, Paresh Barman, ManipatiSarma. The Presidentof Basanti Puja Committee and the President of BarazaraAgragatiSangha have been co-opted as members to the Committee.
